Ends and Means – Lesson 13

But, for what?

These players, and all players, strive to get the little white ball into the hole— or, for the purposes of this blog post, the “ends.” The question closely follows Lesson 12: how you achieve the ends largely depends on you. If you play within the rules, swing like a three-legged duck, and still perform well, the means absolutely justify the ends. However, if you swing like Adam Scott but play like a pillock, then there’s work to be done.

The point is that each of you is unique, and coaching should assist you in utilizing your skills to get the ball in the hole and become your own best golf coach.

I look forward to seeing you at the Hawkes Bay Golf Club for coaching. Enjoy playing on the beautiful course, purchasing the latest equipment, and savoring a cold one after your game. We pride ourselves on being the friendliest little club in Hawkes Bay.
