For want of a better metaphor/analogy/comparison/whatever, Loki lives inside golf clubs. If you don’t control him with total and utter commitment – Loki will take over and create havoc.
Yes, sometimes you just can’t control him and he gets the club to do strange things. But, if you have full commitment for your swing and the the swing to the target – you’ll make that ratbag calm down.
Assess the golf ball and how it’s lying. Decide on a shot and a target. Make a couple swings with that shot/target in mind. Then make it happen at 100% commitment. You’ll hit better shots. Anything less than 100% and that sneaky bugger with creep in.
Bear in mind – 100% commitment doesn’t mean 100% effort. You don’t have to go full-send every shot. 100% commitment means total dedication to the shot you decided on.
