The World is a funny place. Humans, I don’t think, have changed that much, but somehow, paradoxically, the world has.

Humans are still prone to wars, protests, and basic desires. Getting ahead to feel free, I suppose, is one of those desires. However, we live in a world that is rapidly changing with technology, making it hard to keep up. We have Google, YouTube, and social media platforms like Snapchat, Facebook, and WhatsApp. We also have systems that can generate a thesis in a matter of seconds given the right prompts. Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is set to revolutionize many aspects of our work.

As a golf coach, I am grateful that, while technology changes the equipment and golf courses, nothing will replace the feeling of a well-struck golf shot. Nothing can replace the exhilaration of achieving your first par, birdie, or eagle. Similarly, nothing can replace the satisfaction of witnessing your students grasp a concept and execute great shots or achieve a great score. Nothing can replace the joy of walking on the fairways.

Sure, you can have all the tools in the world, like launch monitors, swing vests, and wearable devices, but the feeling of playing great golf is something technology can only assist with. A.I. cannot replace that feeling.
