Actually everyone younger than me looks baby faced. That said, young Daniel Hillier of Wellington has beaten the field at the British Masters with a couple eagles in the final 18 around the Belfry.
I am particularly pleased to wake up to the news of Daniel winning because I know his coach, Kevin and know how hard they worked since Daniel was a junior. It’s a special win for Daniel but I imagine Kevvy will have a sense of pride and accomplishment for he deserves.
Finishing with a blistering back nine to win by two is a massive win.
I had the pleasure of beginning my coaching out of the Hawkes Bay Golf Club over the weekend. Thank you to the boys who came down and smacked some under my tutelage. It’s funny what doing your passion can do for productivity!!! I was actually nervous because it’s been a while since I’ve done a lesson in person at a golf club. It was fantastic to see the practice facility being used too. Lots of people out playing and practicing – the club is going well 🙂
Going to go be productive now..
