Well, I’ll be a horses arse. After the vitriol and panic, the gaslighting and petty name calling, the two tours have merged. LIV and the PGA Tour. To be more accurate this encompasses the DP World Tour as well.
I have questions.
Does Taylor Gooch get a spot at the US Open? Do all players get world ranking points? Is everybody back in to Ryder Cup contention? Who knew about this? Is it good for golf?
I could go on but won’t. I have to say that I’m a little shocked by the decision but I’m sure it’s probably the right thing to do for golf. Bickering and bitching and name calling isn’t what golf is about. I have been guilty of it in the past and certainly regret it but we can all grow and move on.
I look forward to seeing what the details are and who is doing what, but wow.
